We’ll start off by first cleaning house of common sales myths you may have been told, and how to get your money mindset in tip-top shape so that your path is clear for selling success.

You’ll learn what new businesses typically get wrong when it comes to selling, the unnecessary mental battles entrepreneurs put themselves through, and how you can craft a non-sleazy selling approach.

Customer Bullseye | Week 2

Most startups know who their customers are, but they speak about them and to them very broadly.

They tiptoe around the customer with uninteresting content and communication, making it undesirable for the customer to build a bond with the brand. During this week, we’ll hone in on your target customer and begin building the foundation of an irresistible marketing plan.

Memorable Marketing | Week 3

We’ll talk about funnel math and why numbers have anything to do with creating a working marketing plan.

You’ll get a crash course on all the marketing channels your business needs based on its sales objective, what truly doesn’t work in a startup marketing plan despite what all the online gurus say, and the formula you can use to continuously craft a marketing plan that produces results for your business.

We get into the nitty gritty of marketing and sales funnels, funnel math, and creating magnetizing content in a way you haven’t experienced it before.

Sales Channels That Convert | Week 4

We’ll dig into sales psychology, persuasive sales approaches, timing out sales pushes, and so much more.

By the end of this module, you’ll become a sales master who can sell anything — even a pet rock.

A Realistic Sales Plan | Week 5

You’ll craft a sales plan that’s completely customized to your business, your current financial and time investment realities, and set up a realistic sales plan that’ll bring in money through the door ASAP.

You’ll be able to use and roll out this sales plan for the next 12-18 months, or even longer if it’s really killing it.

This is the week when you let out a huge sigh of relief because you have a clear GPS telling you when to turn, what you should expect to see results wise, and when you’ll arrive at your final destination.

Financials and Pricing Basics | Week 6

Getting good at sales requires knowing your numbers, and knowing what to do with the money after you get a bunch of sales in. We’ll go through pricing basics to make sure that you’re making a profit off of each purchase, how to reinvest that money into your business, and how to tweak your sales plan after some real-world feedback and adjustments.

We’ll also create 5-year financial projections for your business so that your pricing makes sense for your trajectory and so that you can see what kind of money you need to bring in to hire a team, and expand.

Working With

Hi, my name is Sophia and I’m the founder of Ascent Strategy.

I sold my first company at the age of 22, I’m a third-time entrepreneur, and I’ve been in the startup game for 14 years. I’ve been named a Forbes 30 Under 30 and an All-Star Alumna, and received the Fred Alger Finance Award.

I’ve been in the weeds building my own startups, so my expertise goes beyond the theory—I’ve sold products and services both the old school and new school way — in-person at high-traffic events, to wholesale clients, and online.

I sold my first business, which had products in 250 retailers worldwide, and have been consistently building and scaling sales formulas for 6-figure startups ever since.

Selling in-person and online are two completely different animals that require nuance and tact so I’m excited to share my experience with you and see your business thrive.

Sales Mastery is open to product and service businesses from all industries — from health and wellness, fashion, tech, to life coaching, this program was built to cater to a wide variety of businesses.

I’ve never made a sale before, can I join?

Sales Mastery is open to entrepreneurs who have a product/service and have attempted to sell it — even if it didn’t result with a sale, the attempt is what matters.

Do you offer extended payment plans?

I am offering extended payment plans during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Please note this when you reach out to me and we can discuss an extended payment plan for you.

What’s your return policy?

Returns will be processed on a case by case basis. Of course, I understand that life happens and am happy to process a return if a huge life event gets in the way. if you’re unhappy with the course, I’m happy to work through that with you as well.
